Canadiens Re-Sign Forward

The Canadiens have signed Rem Pitlick to a two-year, $2.2 million contract.

There was reason to believe that Pitlick's time in Montreal could be over, as the team decided not to send him a qualifying offer. Yet, that speculation has now come to a close, as the Ottawa native will be a Canadien for the next two years.

After being claimed off waivers from the Wild, Pitlick recorded a solid 26 points in 46 games. Overall, he proved to be a good addition and had a solid year all around. In 66 games, he had 15 goals and 37 points. It was his first full year in the NHL, so let's see what he can do in 2022-23.
