Golden Knights Bring Back Veteran Winger

Reilly Smith is officially staying with the Golden Knights, as he has signed a three-year, $15 million contract extension.

It had been reported last month that Vegas and Smith agreed to a verbal extension, but due to the Golden Knights' lack of cap space, they weren't able to officially get the move done. After trading Max Pacioretty and Dylan Coghlan for absolutely nothing, they were able to bring back the original Golden Knight officially.

Smith will continue on his solid tenure with the Golden Knights from here. In 321 games with the club, he has 98 goals, 132 assists, and 230 points.
