Jets Re-Sign Forward

Jansen Harkins is staying with the Jets, as he has signed a two-year, $1.7 million contract extension.

Harkins just finished his first full season in the NHL. In 77 games, he scored seven goals and recorded 15 points. In 2022-23, he will be hoping to find the scoresheet a bit. Furthermore, it will be intriguing to see if he is utilized a bit more, as he averaged under 10 minutes of playing time per contest.

With this move, the Jets are keeping a decent bottom-six forward in their depth. It will be interesting to see what the 2015 second-round pick does from here.
