NHL Rumors: Sabres Linked To Blues Goalie

According to The Fourth Period, the Sabres are currently linked to pending UFA Ville Husso.

When looking at Buffalo's goaltending, it's clear that Husso would be a perfect fit for the starting job. Although the Sabres re-signed Craig Anderson, he would likely fit best as the team's backup. Furthermore, adding Husso would allow the Sabres to take their time developing Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.

Buffalo also has a lot of money to work with, so maybe they will end up being the winners of the Husso sweepstakes. We will have to keep an eye on this from here.
