NHL Rumors: Very Surprising Team Interested In Nazem Kadri

According to Nick Kypreos, there are rumblings that the Coyotes are going to make a real run for Nazem Kadri this offseason.

This is shocking for a number of reasons. First, the Coyotes have been in full-tank mode and have traded several key players since last offseason. However, Kypreos also noted that the franchise is trying to show its fans that they are serious about becoming a more competitive team.

The Coyotes have a lot of money to work with, but would Kadri REALLY be willing to join one of the weakest teams in the league? He is fresh off of a Stanley Cup win, but if Arizona sends him a ridiculously high offer, perhaps the veteran would be willing to rock a Kachina jersey.
