Stars Re-Sign Goalie

The Stars have re-signed Scott Wedgewood to a two-year contract extension. He will have a $1 million AAV.

Wedgewood was acquired by the Stars from the Coyotes before this year's trade deadline passed. Overall, the career AHL netminder showed that he is capable of playing in the NHL as a backup. In 37 games on the year, he sported a 13-15-6 record, 3.14 GAA, .910 SV%.

This move means that the Stars will continue to run with a tandem of Jake Oettinger and Wedgewood. Let's see how the pair perform from here.
