Wild Re-Sign 2 Forwards

The Wild have re-signed Mitchell Chaffee and Nick Swaney to one-year, two-way contracts. 

Chaffee appeared in his first two career NHL games this past campaign, where he sported a plus-1 rating. The 24-year-old forward put together a strong campaign with the Iowa Wild, too, as he had 23 goals and 39 points in 49 games. He will now be aiming to fight his way to the NHL squad in 2022-23. 

Swaney just completed his first full season with the Iowa Wild. In 62 games with the AHL club, he scored 16 goals and recorded 38 points. It was a decent year for the 5-foot-10 winger, so it makes sense that Minnesota is keeping around for depth.
