NHL Rumors: New York Rangers To Bring Back Winger

According to Larry Brooks, the New York Rangers are expected to sign Jimmy Vesey.

Vesey is certainly a familiar face to the Rangers, as he played his first three seasons in the NHL there. Since he was moved to the Buffalo Sabres after the 2018-19 season, he has had trouble finding a permanent home. He has had stops with the Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils over that span.

With New Jersey last season, Vesey scored eight goals and recorded 15 points in 68 games. That was low production from the winger, so if he ends up inking a deal with the Blueshirts like Brooks expects, he will be looking to bounce back.
