Anaheim Ducks Sign Forward to PTO

The Anaheim Ducks have signed Rocco Grimaldi to a PTO.

Grimaldi played in just seven NHL games with the Nashville Predators last season, where he failed to get on the scoresheet. This led to the 29-year-old being sent back down to the AHL, and that is where he would spend the majority of the 2021-22 campaign. With the Milwaukee Admirals, he played excellently, as he had 26 goals and 52 points in only 44 games.

Grimaldi will be heading into training camp with the goal of making Anaheim's NHL roster. Keep in mind, he did have a 31-point campaign in 66 games with Nashville in 66 games in 2019-20. Thus, he has shown in the past that can be a decent secondary scorer. Let's see if he can bounce back in 2022-23 if he lands a deal with the Ducks.
