Jonathan Quick Opens Up About Playing Future

When asked by Dennis Bernstein about his playing future, Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick said that he wants to continue playing after this season.

Quick is entering the final season of his contract, so naturally, fans had been wondering if this would be the veteran's last year in the NHL. Yet, if the veteran has it his way, he will continue to play past this season.

After a few years of struggling, Quick showed this past season that he is still a solid netminder in the NHL. In 46 games, he had a 23-13-9 record to go along with a 2.59 GAA and .910 SV%. If he can replicate this kind of season in 2022-23, he should have zero trouble landing another contract next summer.
