NHL Rumors: Latest Update on Blues Goalie Jordan Binnington

St Louis Blues netminder Jordan Binnington ended last season hurt as he was dealing with a knee injury during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Sounds like the injury should be behind him come training camp, which is only mere days away.

With Ville Husso traded to the Detroit Red Wings, the starting net is Binnington's to lose as veteran Thomas Griess was brought in to push him and bring some veteran stability to the position. St Louis also has Joel Hofer, who is 22 years old and looks like he could be a solid pro. Hofer posted an impressive .934 save % in 10 AHL Playoff games last season.

As for Binnington, the 29-year-old is coming off a 18-14-4 season, which saw him lose his starting gig to Husso. He hasn't played more than 50 games ever in his career, so it will be curious to see how the Blues handle work load this season. As of now, looks like their starter is ready to go come training camp!
