Anaheim Ducks Forward Clears Waivers

On Monday, Anaheim Ducks forward Glenn Gawdin was the only player placed on waivers. Yet, he will officially be remaining with the organization, as he has cleared waivers.

This is pretty good news for the Ducks, as Gawdin will remain as a solid depth option for them moving forward. He should be a very good contributor for the San Diego Gulls this season, as he showed last year that he can produce in the AHL. In 62 games this past season with the Stockton Heat, he had 15 goals to go along with 50 points.

Although Gawdin is beginning the season in the AHL, we should not rule out the possibility of him getting a call-up when injuries arise during the season. He made it pretty far in camp, so let's see what happens with him from here.
