Bruins Center Suffers Injury

After leaving Thursday's contest against the Detroit Red Wings early, Boston Bruins center David Krejci will be out for Friday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets due to an upper-body injury.

This is a notable blow for a Bruins team who is on fire. After spending last season back home in Czechia, Krejci has been simply superb for the B's. In eight games thus far, he has two goals to go along with six assists. Playing on a strong second line with David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall has allowed him to thrive, but now, unfortunately, Boston will be without him again.

At the time of this writing, an estimated recovery time for Krejci has not been announced. However, he has been ruled out for Friday's tilt, so Boston will be aiming to maintain their excellent run without the 36-year-old.
