Chicago Blackhawks Activate Forward

Chicago Blackhawks forward Jason Dickinson's visa issues have been worked out. As a result, the Original Six club has activated him, and he's set to make his team debut.

Dickinson was acquired by the Blackhawks right before the start of the regular season from the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks needed to clear cap space and decided to trade Dickinson and his $2.65 million cap hit because of it. Yet, it did come at a cost for them, as they also had to trade a second-round pick with him to acquire Riley Stillman.

Dickinson is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2021-22 season from here. In 62 games with the Canucks last year, he had five goals and six assists. Overall, those offensive numbers were low for his standards, but perhaps having a bigger role with the rebuilding Blackhawks could help him get back on track.
