Montreal Canadiens Call Up Defenseman

The Montreal Canadiens have called up Corey Schueneman to their NHL roster.

Schueneman played in his first 22 NHL games with the Canadiens last season, where he had two goals and four assists. Overall, the 27-year-old showed that he can work well as a depth defenseman, and now he has landed a call-up due to the team's injuries on defense because of it. 

This is a grand opportunity for Schueneman to show the Canadiens that he is meant to have a permanent spot on their NHL roster. We will have to wait and see if he takes advantage of the big chance in front of him from here.
