Winnipeg Jets Place Forward on Waivers

The Winnipeg Jets have placed Dominic Toninato on waivers.

Toninato's placement on waivers is understandable given the circumstances. Mason Appleton is set to return to the lineup for the Jets, while recent waiver pickup Axel Jonsson-Fjallby has joined the club. Therefore, these moves are seemingly making Toninato expendable.

Toninato was a regular in the Jets lineup last season, as he appeared in 77 games where he had seven goals and seven assists. Teams in need of some forward depth could consider the prospect of claiming the 6-foot-2 center. We will have to wait and see what ends up occurring on that front from here.
