New York Rangers Sign Forward

Jimmy Vesey clearly impressed during his PTO with the New York Rangers, as they have now signed the 29-year-old winger to a one-year, $750,000 contract.

This means that Vesey and the Rangers are officially reunited. The former Hobey Baker winner spent his first three seasons with the Rangers (2016-17 to 2018-19), where he had 50 goals and 90 points in 240 games. Since then, he has been all over the place, having played for the Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils.

Last season with New Jersey, Vesey had eight goals, 15 points, and a minus-24 rating in 68 games. It was certainly a down year for him, but he will be aiming to turn things around as a member of the Blueshirts again.
