NHL Rumors: Philadelphia Flyers Likely to Trade Defenseman

According to Sam Carchidi, Justin Braun will likely be a trade candidate for the Philadelphia Flyers this season if they find themselves out of the playoff race at the deadline.

This is certainly familiar territory for Braun, as the Flyers just traded him at the 2022 Trade Deadline to the New York Rangers. Yet, there were clearly no hard feelings, as the veteran d-man immediately rejoined the Flyers this offseason. However, if the Flyers once again are near the bottom of the NHL standings, we should see Braun get shopped once again.

At this juncture of his career, Braun is a very solid bottom-pairing defenseman who has an immense amount of experience. Therefore, there will be interest in the 35-year-old, right-handed defenseman yet again. In 69 games this past season, he had six goals and 18 points.
