Philadelphia Flyers Place 2 Players on Waivers

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Zack MacEwen and Cooper Marody on waivers.

MacEwen earned himself a lot of respect from the Flyer faithful last season. After being claimed off waivers by the team from the Vancouver Canucks at the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign, he immediately provided the Flyers with some old-fashioned toughness - which the franchise is famous for. Yet, he was not much of a factor offensively, as he had just nine points in 75 games.

Marody, on the other hand, played in one game for the Edmonton Oilers last season, recording an assist. He was very solid with the Bakersfield Condors, however, as he scored 21 goals and recorded 55 points in 52 games. Perhaps a team looking for some forward depth could place a claim on him,
