Vancouver Canucks Dealing With Multiple Injuries

The Vancouver Canucks are dealing with an array of injuries. Tyler Myers and Phillip Di Giuseppe will each be missing the next two to four weeks with lower-body injuries. Defenseman Travis Dermott is out indefinitely with a concussion.

The Canucks are looking to be a playoff team this year, so missing three players at the start of the campaign is not ideal. This is especially true with Myers and Dermott, as they are important parts of their blueline.

Myers played in all 82 games for the Canucks last season, where he had one goal, 17 assists, and a plus-15 rating. Overall, it was another solid year from the 6-foot-8 d-man, so it is unfortunate that Vancouver will start the year without him.

Dermott played in 60 games split between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks last season. During them, he scored two goals and recorded seven points. As for Di Guiseppe, he spent all of last season with the Abbotsford Canucks, scoring 12 goals and recording 36 points in 42 games.
