Vegas Golden Knights Re-Sign Defenseman

The Vegas Golden Knights have re-signed Nic Hague to a three-year, $6,882,450 ($2,294,140 AAV) contract.

Hague was the Golden Knights' last remaining RFA, and things were not looking too good when it came to negotiations for a while. The 23-year-old defenseman did not attend training camp and conditioned back home because of their stagnant contract talks, but now that is a thing of the past. The 6-foot-6 d-man is now ready to go for Vegas, and that is a nice boost to their blueline heading into the year.

Hague is a young defenseman on the rise who will be looking to build off of another solid season. In 52 games last year, he had four goals to go along with 14 points. Let's see how he responds to this nice payday from the Golden Knights from here.
