Wild Make Some Roster Moves

With Jordan Greenway leaving Thursday's game early injured, the Minnesota Wild have called Mason Shaw back up to their NHL roster. That isn't the only roster move they have made, however, as they also have loaned Vladislav Firstov to the KHL.

Shaw was just demoted to the AHL by the Wild earlier this week because of Greenway's return, but now the 23-year-old is immediately coming back to Minnesota. The 5-foot-10 center will be aiming to impress from here, as it could be what leads to him sticking around once Greenway is good to go again. During his lone game with Minnesota this season, he had zero points and an even rating.

Firstov, on the other hand, will be heading to Torpedo Nizhny Novogrod. The 2019 second-round pick played in eight games with the Iowa Wild last season, where he had two assists. With that, he put together a 23-point campaign in 35 games with the University of Connecticut.
