Detroit Red Wings Claim Goalie Off Waivers
The Detroit Red Wings have claimed Magnus Hellberg off of waivers from the Seattle Kraken.
This is Hellberg's second stint with the Red Wings, as he signed a late-season contract with them last year. In his lone appearance with Detroit, he allowed three goals on 23 shots. Yet, now he is once again going to give the Red Wings a bit more depth in goal behind Ville Husso and Alex Nedeljkovic.
This marks the third time where Hellberg has been claimed off of waivers this season alone. It has been a very eventful year for the 31-year-old, but he will be hoping to find some stability with the Red Wings from here.
