NHL Rumors: Wild & Coyotes Becoming Possible Trading Partners

Earlier this month, Minnesota Wild GM Bill Guerin told reporters that he is looking to add some scoring to his current forward group. As a result, we should expect to see Minnesota become very aggressive on the phones from here. One player who could make sense for the Wild is Arizona Coyotes winger Nick Ritchie.

Since being traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to Coyotes last season, Ritchie has turned things around nicely. After recording 14 points in 24 games with Arizona last season, he has six goals and 10 points in 20 games with them this season. The 6-foot-3 power forward is certainly able to provide decent secondary scoring, so perhaps we will see the Wild make a push for him from here.

Ritchie would fit nicely in Minnesota's middle six at the end of the day. We will have to wait and see if these two teams make a deal from here.
