Colorado Avalanche Make Roster Moves

The Colorado Avalanche have called up Brad Hunt to their NHL roster. Martin Kaut has also been sent back down to the Colorado Eagles after clearing waivers. 

Hunt is set to make his debut with the Avalanche. The 34-year-old defenseman has spent this campaign with the Eagles and boy has he been excellent in the AHL. In 22 games on the year, he has an impressive 20 points. Now, the 5-foot-9 defenseman will be aiming to translate some of that offense over to the NHL level with Colorado. In 50 games last season with the Vancouver Canucks, he had three goals and 17 points. 

Kaut, on the other hand, was the Avalanche's 2018 first-round pick, but he has yet to blossom into a full-time NHL player at this juncture. In 18 games this season with the Avs, he has one goal and two assists.
