Florida Panthers Call Up 2 Players

With Patric Hornqvist being placed on LTIR, the Florida Panthers opened up cap space to call up players. As a result, Zac Dalpe and Matt Kiersted are now with the NHL squad.

Dalpe appeared in just one game with the Panthers last season, where he had zero points and a minus-1 rating. During this call-up, he will be hoping to receive more chances with the NHL squad. The 33-year-old has been producing well at the AHL level this season, as he has an impressive 10 goals and 15 points in 19 games thus far.

Kiersted, on the other hand, has already played in 10 games this season for the Panthers, where he has zero points and a plus-1 rating. If he performs well for the Panthers during this call-up, perhaps it will lead to him earning a permanent spot on their NHL roster.
