Flyers Forward Finished in Philadelphia

While speaking with reporters, Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella announced that Lukas Sedlak has left the team to go back home to Czechia. Tortorella also said that he will allow Sedlak to explain why he has left the Flyers.

NHL insider Frank Seravalli also reported that the Flyers are likely to place Sedlak on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract.

Sedlak returned to North America after spending the previous three seasons in the KHL. After three games with the Colorado Avalanche, the 29-year-old forward was placed on waivers and then claimed by the Flyers. In 27 games with Philadelphia, he had three goals and eight points.
