Nashville Predators Defenseman Set to Return

The Nashville Predators are getting a boost, as Ryan McDonagh is set to return to the lineup against the Chicago Blackhawks. To make room for him, they have sent down Jordan Gross to the AHL.

The Predators certainly need to get things back on track, as they have a 13-13-4 record. With a record like this, their playoff hopes are starting to decrease. However, getting a defenseman back in the lineup like McDonagh could be enough to start winning more games.

In 23 games this season, McDonagh has six assists to go along with a plus-5 rating. His reliable defensive play will certainly be welcomed back with open arms. Let's see how the Preds respond to his return from here.
