Vancouver Canucks' Top Trade Candidate This Season

The horrible start to the season by the Vancouver Canucks sprung a ton of trade rumours surrounding the team. That has continued despite the team being three points out of a playoff spot. There have been demotions and trades this season already and more changes are sure to come.

The most notable names that have been in trade rumours thus far are Bo Horvat, Brock Boeser, Luke Schenn, and Conor Garland, but one player in particular has appeared to have reached the end of the road with the Canucks. That would be Boeser as he was almost a healthy scratch recently and he definitely needs a change in scenery.

Boeser is playing on the third line of the Canucks and the former four-time 20-goal scorer has not had a great season. He does have 16 points in 22 games, but only four goals. His defence has also been forgettable.

There are a number of teams where he can rejuvenate his young career and start putting up the stats he has in the past. Boeser is still a top-six winger and a great sniper if he can stay healthy and confident. The Canucks aren't trying to get any worse right now and we could realistically see a one-for-one trade including someone else also needing a change in scenery.
