Canucks Rumors: Vancouver Asking for Final Trade Offers

The Vancouver Canucks have made one thing clear to the 31 other teams across the NHL, make us your best Bo Horvat trade offer or miss out.

Canucks management, who has been criticized lately for their handling of Bruce Boudreau, has reported informed other teams they would like to start making some deals. Captain Horvat is expected to be one of the first to go as president Jim Rutherford and general manager Patrik Allvin want to know who is actually going to get serious when crunch time comes.

At this point we know one team has offered a first-round pick along with their top prospect, meanwhile there's several teams in the mix who have yet to send in their 'final' offers. Teams who have interest include the Colorado Avalanche, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals.

Expect to see Horvat moved in the next couple of weeks as things begin to change in Vancouver. Rick Tocchet takes over behind the bench this week and will likely see several of his roster players change between now and March 3 trade deadline. Captain Horvat appears to be the first set to go.
