Florida Panthers & Minnesota Wild Becoming Possible Trade Partners

It has been a year of mixed results for the Minnesota Wild, but even with that being the case, they still are in the playoff hunt. As a result of this, they are expected to be buyers at the trade deadline. An area of weakness for them right now is at center, so don’t be surprised to see them target several players at this position. With Florida Panthers center Sam Reinhart potentially available, he could be the perfect addition for them.

The Panthers are looking to move out some of their salary, as they are dealing with some cap trouble. With that, they have been extremely underwhelming this season, so they are due for some changes to the roster. As a result, we very well could see Reinhart traded at the deadline, and there may not be a better fit for him than the wild.

If Minnesota wants to compete with the top teams in the Western Conference, they are going to need to make a splash of the deadline. Reinhart would certainly be just that, so we will have to wait and see if they end up making a series push for him before the deadline passes.
