Brendan Gallagher has a lower-body injury. He’s sidelined for a minimum of two weeks.
The news comes on the heels of forward Brendan Gallagher also being sidelined as the pesky winger is set to miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury.
As for Guhle, he was injured on Dec.29 in a game against the Florida Panthers after getting tied up with Panthers star Aleksander Barkov. Guhle has been great this season and a bright spot for the struggling Habs as he's recorded 14 points in 36 games so far in 2022-23.
Gallagher on the other hand sustained his injury during practice in Nashville earlier this week, played through it, and then now can't go for two weeks. Injuries have plagued him throughout his career and it seems like his style of play is starting to catch up to him. The Canadiens veteran has recorded nine points in 25 games and makes $6.5 million against the cap.
