NHL Rumors: Arizona Coyotes Shopping Defenseman

The Arizona Coyotes have several players that are currently in the rumor mill. Jakob Chychrun and Shayne Gostisbehere stand out among them, but another veteran defenseman who is reportedly available is Josh Brown.

Brown certainly could get attention on the trade market, as he has proven that he can be a decent depth defenseman when called upon. After all, just last season, the Boston Bruins acquired him from the Ottawa Senators at the deadline, so we should not be surprised to see the big-bodied defenseman move again.

Brown has had a decent year with the Coyotes, too, as he has three goals and five points in 39 games. With Brown being a defensive defenseman at heart, this kind of production from him is promising to see. Expect teams looking to add some bite to their group to make a big push for Brown as we get closer to the trade deadline from here.
