NHL Rumors: Dallas Stars Forward Becoming Trade Candidate

The Dallas Stars are going to be major buyers at the trade deadline this year, as they are one of the top teams in the Western Conference. According to NHL insider Jeff Marek, the Stars could use Radek Faksa as a trade piece to land talent elsewhere.

Faksa is a decent third-line forward while playing at his best, as he can provide decent offense to go along with the strong defensive play in the process. Yet, with the Stars looking to bring in more star power, it makes sense that they are considering moving Faksa as a piece to help make that come to fruition. There certainly should be some teams willing to take a chance on him, as he has plenty of NHL experience.

Alas, we will need to wait and see if the Stars end up moving him from here. Teams looking for a bit more center depth at the deadline should consider the prospect of bringing him in.
