NHL Rumors: Insider Links Blues Forward to Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights are one of the top teams in the Western Conference, so they are expected to be major buyers at the trade deadline because of it. Although they have been linked to some big-name players, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman believes that they could also improve their depth and make a push for St. Louis Blues forward Noel Acciari.

Acciari is not a star, but he has shown throughout his career that he is a very effective bottom-six forward. This is because he provides solid secondary scoring to go along with immense physicality in the process. Furthermore, he also has been praised for his defensive game, so he could be a strong option for their penalty kill.

Acciari also has a connection to Vegas, as he of course played for head coach Bruce Cassidy when he was with the Boston Bruins. We will need to wait and see if they end up being reunited from here with the Golden Knights
