NHL Rumors: Minnesota Wild Making Push for Canucks Defenseman

The Minnesota Wild are looking to add to their roster at the trade deadline. It is clear that they could use a boost with their defensive group if they hope to compete with the Western Conference’s best teams. According to The Fourth Period, Vancouver Canucks defenseman Luke Schenn is on their radar because of it.

Schenn is going to be one of the top rental defensemen available at the deadline, so several teams are already looking to acquire him. Now, the Wild are the latest team to join the sweepstakes, and there certainly could be an amazing match between them. After all, Schenn would provide them a very solid bottom-pairing defenseman who plays an extremely heavy game.

Alas, it will be intriguing to see if the Wild end up being the lucky team to acquire Schenn from the Canucks from here.
