Maple Leafs Rumors: Forward Trade Still Coming

The Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to win a Stanley Cup this season as general manager Kyle Dubas has been busy of late trying to fine tune his roster for success. After blockbuster deals with the St Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks, word is there's still more to come before Friday's trade deadline.

The Maple Leafs still need to make a roster move or two to become financially compliant as they look to activate goaltender Matt Murray off of LTIR. According to a source close to the Maple Leafs, they've discussed both Pierre Engvall and Alexander Kerfoot in recent trades.

The Leafs are still in the market for one more defenseman and have internally discussed bringing back Luke Schenn of the Vancouver Canucks. Kerfoot is from the area and is on their radar.

Leafs Nation is buzzing after the team has added Ryan O'Reilly, Noel Acciari, Jake McCabe and Sam Lafferty. Sounds like more is coming as Dubas goes all in this season.
