3 Winnipeg Jets Not Expected Back Next Season

The Winnipeg Jets will look much different in 2023-24 as changes are expected this summer. General manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has his work cut out for him this offseason and here's three Jets players not expected back next season:

Pierre-Luc Dubois

One of the worst kept secrets in the NHL is the fact Dubois wants to play for the Montreal Canadiens. The two teams chatted several times throughout the season but didn't come to an agreement on a trade. Dubois is a pending restricted free agent and is very likely on the move to the Canadiens this summer.

Logan Stanley

The towering defenseman reportedly asked for a trade this season as he likely wasn't happy his role got diminished once he was through battling injury troubles. Stanley is still young, he's got top-four potential and he's going to interest several teams. The 24-year-old is a pending restricted free agent and is someone to watch as trades transpire at the NHL Entry Draft.

David Rittich

While it hasn't been all bad for Rittich and the Jets, the veteran netminder is a pending free agent and likely will not be re-signed by the hockey team. He's appeared in 20 games this season and has recorded a .902 save %. Winnipeg would be better suited to bring in a goalie who is going to push starter Connor Hellebuyck as a 1-B in their crease.
