Ottawa Senators & Philadelphia Flyers Complete Trade

The Ottawa Senators continue to make changes as they've added forward Patrick Brown from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round pick.

Brown will get a chance to play some minutes in Ottawa down the stretch as they look to sneak into the playoff race. He'll provide some depth up front at center. Brown has chipped in this season in Philly with two goals and seven points in 43 games and is known for being defensively responsible.

Brown will play a checking role for the Sens and provide a physical presence and someone who is great in the faceoff dot. The 30-year-old has recorded 125 hits so far this season and has won 54% of his draws. Brown has played 120 career NHL games over the course of his seven season career.
