Tampa Bay Lightning Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2023 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest piece, we will be focusing on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Max Pacioretty: If the Lightning lose Alex Killorn through free agency, they will need to add another top-six winger to their group this offseason. With the Lightning having limited cap space, perhaps they could take a look at Max Pacioretty on a cheap one-year deal. Everyone knows he is a star, but his injury trouble is something that also cannot be ignored.

Jesper Fast: The Lightning should be looking to add to their bottom six this offseason. One player who could make sense for them because of it is Jesper Fast. In 71 games this season with the Carolina Hurricanes on the year, he has eight goals to go along with 17 assists.

Brian Dumoulin: The Lightning will likely aim to add some depth to the left side of their defensive group. As a result, Brian Dumoulin could be a strong target for them to consider. The longtime Pittsburgh Penguin would provide them with more stability on their bottom pairing due to his reliable defensive play.
