Winnipeg Jets Rumors: 3 Possible Trade Destinations for Pierre-Luc Dubois

If Pierre-Luc Dubois is not open to signing a long-term extension with the Winnipeg Jets this offseason, there is a good chance that we will see the talented forward moved. If this scenario does occur,
here are three potential landing spots for him.

Montreal Canadiens: The Montreal Canadiens stand out as a prime landing spot for Dubois, as he has been heavily linked to them for quite some time. Many believe that is where he will end up if he ends up hitting the free-agent market, so perhaps Montreal could get the ball rolling early and acquire him this summer.

Boston Bruins: If Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci retire after the season, the Boston Bruins are going to have major holes at the center position. As a result, we could see them look to add a top-six center this summer. Dubois could be an excellent fit on their roster due to his high skill level and immense physicality.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Carolina Hurricanes would be wise to add a second-line center to their group this summer. They failed to find a replacement for Vincent Trocheck for this role both last summer and at the deadline, so look for them to go all in for PLD this summer if he’s made available.
