Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Forward Emerging as Trade Candidate

The Arizona Coyotes are in a complete rebuild and are expected to make more moves during the offseason because of it. Due to this, one player to watch in the rumor mill this summer is power forward, Lawson Crouse.

It was reported leading up to the deadline that teams were calling the Coyotes about Crouse. Although a move did not come to fruition, things could change on that front during the offseason if a team sends the Coyotes a big enough offer for him. Due to Crouse having an affordable $4.3 million cap hit until the end of the 2026-27 season and his physical style of play, the Coyotes' asking price would likely start at a first-round pick and prospect.

Crouse put together the best season of his career in 2022-23, as he set new career highs with 24 goals, 21 assists, and 45 points in 77 games. Thus, his trade value is at its highest right now, so do not be surprised if the Coyotes take advantage of that this summer.
