Carolina Hurricanes Win OT Thriller In Game Two

The Carolina Hurricanes have come into the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs ready and expecting a deep run in the tough Eastern Conference, and although it was a challenge in Game Two, they've managed to take their first round series to a 2-0 lead.

The New York Islanders were expected to go quietly in this one, but after 60 minutes, the game was still tied, that was until a Jesper Fast snipe ended the game, putting the Carolina Hurricanes in prime position as the series moves to Long Island.

For New York, the team were able to get solid performances out of Kyle Palmeri, Noah Dobson and Brock Nelson, but now find themselves desperate to win a Game Three, and if they don't, it appears the top seed is ready to run through them.
