Dallas Stars Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players from each team who could be moved during the summer.

In this latest episode of the series, we will be focusing on the Dallas Stars.

Radek Faksa: Radek Faksa was in the rumor mill leading up to the deadline, and it is likely that the Stars will look to trade him yet again this summer. Moving him would free up $3.25 million of cap space that they could use elsewhere to improve their roster. In 74 games this season, the 29-year-old center has 11 goals to go along with seven assists.

Thomas Harley: If the Stars want to make a big splash this offseason, they could add Thomas Harley to the deal. The Stars' defensive group is quite deep, and it has made it hard for Harley to become an NHL defenseman because of it. Teams looking to take a chance on a 21-year-old with top-four potential should consider pursuing the New York native.

Riley Tufte: Riley Tufte is another prospect who the Stars could move this summer. The 2016 first-round pick has been unable to become an NHL-caliber player, but perhaps a move to a rebuilding squad could get his development back on track. The 6-foot-6 winger has 15 goals and 30 points in 56 games with the Texas Stars this season.
