Nashville Predators Place Forward On Waivers

The Nashville Predators have made a change to their roster, as they have placed forward John Leonard on waivers.

Leonard has primarily played in the AHL this season, so perhaps this waiver placement is not all too surprising. In six games on the year with the Predators, the 24-year-old winger has one goal to go along with an even plus/minus rating. Down in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals, he has been a solid contributor, as he has 14 goals and 38 points in 61 games.

There could be some interest on the waiver wire for Leonard if teams are looking to add some depth to their forward group for the final portion of the season. However, if he ends up clearing waivers, he will return to Milwaukee.

In 63 career games split between the San Jose Sharks and Predators, Leonard has five goals, 11 assists, and 16 points.
