NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Alex Killorn This Offseason

Alex Killorn is one of the free agents heading into this summer, and there will be a lot of interest in him if he elects to test the market. Thus, let's go over three teams who are expected to target him.

Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning will try to bring back Killorn this offseason. He has been one of their top forwards for several years now, and he has provided them with great leadership in the process. However, when noting that he currently has 61 points in 79 games, he will understandably be looking for a raise. Can Tampa give him that?

Detroit Red Wings: Killorn has a connection with Steve Yzerman due to the latter's days with the Lightning, so don't be surprised when the Detroit Red Wings aim to sign him. The Red Wings need help in their top six, and Killorn would provide them with just that due to his high production. With that, he can play both wings, so he would fit virtually anywhere in their top six.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames need more scoring, and Killorn is a player who they will consider signing because of it. He would be a great fit in their top six and would provide them with another skilled veteran forward as they aim to get things back on track next year.
