NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Shayne Gostisbehere This Offseason

Shayne Gostisbehere is having another strong season, as he has 12 goals and 38 points in 71 games. As a result, he should receive plenty of interest as a free agent this summer. Let's discuss three specific teams who are expected to pursue him.

Florida Panthers: The Florida Panthers need more offense from the point, and this has been the case since they traded away MacKenzie Weegar. Therefore, they could look to bring in Gostisbehere this summer. He would fit nicely in their top four and on their power play. With that, it also does not hurt that he's a Florida native.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders have had trouble producing offense this season, so they could look at a player like Gostisbehere. Their left side could also use a boost, and he would provide them with just that if signed.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators have been retooling their roster, but they also have stayed competitive in the process. Therefore, they could go into this summer with the goal of adding to their group. When noting that the left side of their defensive group is not particularly strong on paper, look for them to pursue Gostisbehere.
