Projecting The Carolina Hurricanes Playoff Starting Lineup

The Carolina Hurricanes have a real problem once playoffs come as they are in such a good conference and a couple of their key players are out. This not only throws off chemistry, they don't really have the adequate personnel to help them out.

The team has lost Andrei Svechnikov and Max Pacioretty for the remainder of the season, including playoffs, and Stefan Noesen was just injured on April 8. With three games remaining for the Hurricanes and Noesen's status unknown, I'm going the positive route of assuming he'll be good to play in the first playoff game. That being said, here's a look at how the Hurricanes should look for Game 1 of the playoffs this season:

Teuvo Teravainen - Sebastian Aho - Martin Necas
Seth Jarvis - Jesperi Kotkaniemi - Jesse Puljujarvi
Jordan Martinook - Jordan Staal - Stefan Noesen
Derek Stepan - Paul Stastny - Jesper Fast

Jaccob Slavin - Brent Burns
Brady Skjei - Brett Pesce
Shayne Gostisbehere - Jalen Chatfield
