Vancouver Canucks Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Tyler Myers

The Vancouver Canucks are expected to trade Tyler Myers this offseason due to their salary cap trouble. There are plenty of teams who could use the right-shot defenseman, but let's discuss three potential landing spots for him.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils could be in the market for a right-shot defenseman this offseason, as Damon Severson is a pending UFA. Myers would be a good replacement for him, as he has proven that he can handle top-four minutes and certainly works on the penalty kill when called upon.

Detroit Red Wings: The Detroit Red Wings need help on the right side of their defensive group. This is especially so when noting that they traded Filip Hronek to the Canucks at the deadline. As a result, perhaps these two teams could strike another deal during the summer, this time centering around Myers.

Buffalo Sabres: A reunion between the Buffalo Sabres and Myers could be in the cards as well. It is clear that the Sabres need to improve their right side, so Myers could be a nice addition to their second pairing. With that, he would be a good mentor for young defensemen like Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power.
