3 Dallas Stars Not Expected Back Next Season

The Dallas Stars could not solve the Vegas Golden Knights and are the latest team to be eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Stars now head into the offseason knowing a few moves are coming to their roster for next season. Here's three players who are not expected to return to Dallas in 2023-24:

Evgeni Dadonov

The Stars are expected to let Dadonov walk in free agency this summer. The 34-year-old winger finished the regular season with 15 points in 23 games for the Stars and added another 10 points in 16 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There will be a market for Dadonov's services and with only $7 million in cap space in Dallas, this is likely heading for a divorce.

Max Domi

Max Domi loved his time with the Dallas Stars after a mid-season trade from the Chicago Blackhawks. With the Blackhawks getting Connor Bedard at the NHL Entry Draft, look for Domi to return to the Blackhawks as he's been very open about how much he loved his time there.

Luke Glendening

The Stars have their goalies locked in for next season, the same can be said about their defense. It's their depth forwards who will be interchanging and you can add Luke Glendening to the list likely to depart. The 34-year-old center will hit the free agent market on July 1 and look for him to return to the Detroit Red Wings.
